PARLIAMENT SHOULDN’T EVEN DEBATE ON LGBTQI+ – AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST COUNCIL

The chairman of Ambassadors for Christ Council in Techiman in the Bono East Region, Pastor Mark Ameyaw, has emphatically stated that the Ghana anti Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI) persons bill should not be an issue to be discussed in the parliament of Ghana.

The man of the God stressed that the
house of the parliament should not waste their time to debate Ghana anti LGBTQI+bill.

According to him, it is against God’s creation tradition on reproduction and multitude of human.

He said, after God created Adam he realized woman was the best for him and so he created woman from the rib of Adams to best the combination for Him (God).

He bemoaned that the ideology of this concept can God’s wrath to the country should it be accepted.

Mr. Mark said they as a Council, an Ambassador for Christ, are not in support of the debate and will help fight against it, he urges the law makers.

He further calledl on the Christian Council and all Religious leaders in the country to kick against it because a same act led to the destructions of Sodom and Gomora and pleaded to maintain the good name of Ghana.

“We always call ourselves a Christian country but it seems we don’t understand what Christianity means, we shouldn’t have even stress to debate on it.

Ghana is becoming unbecoming by learning and copying the western culture”, he cried out.

He further stated it is about time Ghana as an independent country depends on it own resources than to always seek help from the foreign countries, else foreign countries will always decide for and control us against our own wishes since we can’t survive without their help.
