Ace actor Mikki Osei Berko popularly known in showbiz as Master Richard has added his voice to the
controversial LGBTQ+ discussion in the country. According to the lead actor who starred in popular tv series
“Taxi Driver”, he sees no right in life to use exits as entries as the debate on criminalising activities of LGBTQ+ intensifies.
This he said in an interview with an Accra-based private media station. In his words, “I don’t see the rights there is in life, to use exits as entries.
“I don’t think that we should be too wise and too free to start using some of the entries as exits, and exits as entries.
I fondly anticipate for people who yearn for that, to start feeding themselves through their noses.”
His comment follows a private bill submitted by Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Hon. Sam Nartey George, and other eight MPs who are pushing for the criminalization of LGBTQI+ activities in the country.
The proponents want the promotion, advocacy, funding, and acts of homosexuality to be criminalized in the
country and that seems to have divided citizens on the decision to either push for or against the bill.
