Artiste performing alongside amgmedikal has apologized to patrons of this year’s, Suncity Music Festival following Medikal’s arrest. Medikal who was billed to perform at this year’s event has been remanded in police custody for brandishing a gun in a viral video on social media.
The ‘Omo Ada” sensation was picked up by the police yesterday and denied bail.
The event has been postponed following the Accra Circuit Court’s decision to remand rapper Medikal into police custody.
He was expected to perform at the event on Saturday, October 23 at Sunyani in the Bono Region.
He was billed to headline the MTN-sponsored programme alongside Afrobeats star, Kelvyn Boy.

Kelvyn Boy took to his social media pages to announce that the event has been rescheduled adding that a new date will be communicated later.
“Sorry Sunyani !! We Will Have To Reschedule This One. A New Date Will Be Communicated Soon!! (sic),” he wrote.
