The earlier reports that Members of Parliament in the Ashanti region escorted Dr. Bawumia to the conference grounds has turned out to be untrue and propaganda. Reports are that only Four (4) Asante MPs escorted Bawumia to the Congress ground.
Namely, Benito, Anywhere, Ayew Afriyie n Akwasi Konadu. This is against the party’s constitutional provisions requiring them to be neutral. These are persons who are already known to be fronting the campaign of the Vice President.
