“Black Stars has collapsed” former Ghanaian midfielder Agyemang Badu

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has described the current Black Stars team as weak after exiting the Africa Cup of Nations at the group stage The China-based midfielder insists the Ghana Football Associations needs to start building from the scratch The Black Stars will find out their FIFA World Cup opponents today after the AFCON disaster FIFA U20 World Cup winner, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, says the Black Stars has collapsed and the country’s needs a developmental plan to rebuild the national team. Agyemang Badu announced his retirement from the Black Stars in 2020, but has since been following the team at international tournaments. And after their disastrous Africa Cup of Nations campaign in Cameroon, the 31-year-old explained the FA needs to start a rebuilding from the scratch.

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has been to several AFCON’s with the senior national team and was a member of the team that reached the final in 2010 in Angola. He was also part of the Black Satellites team that won the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2009 in Egypt. His winning penalty will be forever remembered in Ghana’s football history. Agyemang Badu played 78 times for the Black Stars, scoring 11 goals for the national team. Meanwhile, the Black Stars will find their World Cup play-offs opponents today, January 22, in Douala.
