Gabby Asare Otchere Darko has waded into the Eastern Regional Elections contest to campaign for Cudjoe Agyeman Boateng, an aspirant.
It is alleged that Mr. It here Darko on Thursday, invited some constituency executives, convincing them to vote for Agyeman Boateng, who many believe is far behind the chairmanship race.
Otchere Darko is said to have intimidated constituency officers who double as government appointees to lose their jobs if Jeff Konadu, who is also contesting for the same position wins the contest.
Amazed at the meeting, many executives wondered why the last-minute attempt to sway the election.
He further went on to gift ¢10,000 to each constituency to influence delegates to vote for Agyeman Boateng.
