Bryan Takes Over Greater Accra — A Groundswell of Momentum By Eugene Boadi

Accra, Ghana — October 2025

The political winds in Greater Accra are shifting, and at the center of the storm stands Dr. Bryan Acheampong, whose campaign for leadership within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has ignited a wave of grassroots enthusiasm and strategic endorsements across the region. From Trobu to Amasaman, polling station executives and youth organizers are rallying behind a man they describe as “trusted and transformational.”

Dr. Acheampong’s recent tour of Greater Accra has been nothing short of electric. His message of renewal, discipline, and unity has resonated deeply with the party’s base, especially in constituencies that have long yearned for stronger representation and visionary leadership. At packed town hall meetings and intimate delegate engagements, Bryan has emphasized his commitment to empowering the rank and file—not just the elite.
“It is the base of the party that counts, and that is why I want power that works for the people,” he declared in Ngleshie Amanfrom, drawing thunderous applause.

While some rivals tout parliamentary endorsements, Bryan’s campaign has leaned into the power of the grassroots. Over 500 youth leaders from the Ashanti Region recently endorsed him, citing his record in agriculture, education, and party unity. In Greater Accra, the story is no different.

Polling station executives in Trobu and Amasaman have voiced their support with clarity and conviction: “Bryan is not just coming with promises but coming with proof. We’ve seen what he’s done in Abetifi, and we believe he can replicate that success here. He listens, he delivers, and he respects the grassroots,” said a polling station executive from Trobu.

“We’ve had enough of politics that forget the foot soldiers. Bryan is the only candidate who has walked with us, not above us. His humility and strength are exactly what the party needs,” added a delegate from Amasaman.

Dr. Acheampong’s achievements include:
• Launching Planting for Food and Jobs Phase II, introducing a value-chain credit system for farmers
• Expanding irrigation and reforming cocoa pricing through COCOBOD
• Leading the Côte d’Ivoire–Ghana Cocoa Initiative, strengthening Ghana’s global cocoa position
• Building Rock City Hotel, one of Africa’s largest hospitality projects, creating jobs and boosting tourism

As the NPP gears up for its internal contest, Dr. Bryan Acheampong’s campaign is gaining traction not just in Greater Accra but nationwide. His blend of competence, charisma, and credibility is striking a chord with delegates who want more than slogans—they want substance.

Whether in the bustling streets of Ablekuma or the quiet corners of Dzorwulu, the message is clear: Bryan is not just running. He’s rising fast in Greater Accra.
