Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah, popularly known in showbiz as Shatta Wale, and Hiplife artiste, Medikal known in real life as Samuel Adu Frimpong has been granted a bill of Ghc100,000 each by the Accra Circuit Court today.
The duo was remanded into police custody days apart, on different charges appeared in court today to continue their respective legal battles.
The self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale, who spent seven days in police custody was arrested for the publication of false news thereby causing fear and panic.
Shatta turned himself in on October 19 when the police declared him as a wanted individual after he had allegedly fabricated a story that he had been shot and receiving treatment, which turned out to be a hoax.
In the case of amgMedikal, he was arrested for brandishing a weapon on social media.
