Medeama Sporting Club and Dreams Football Club have made it to the group stage of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup respectively.
Medeama progressed to the group stage of the CAF Champions League for the first time in it’s history beating Guinean giant Horoya 4-3 on aggregates.
Medeama took a 3-1 lead in the first leg at the Cape Coast Stadium but lost the return leg in Conakry 1-2 to progress with a 4-3 aggregate win.
Dreams FC advanced to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup on their very first attempt.
Karim Zito and his boys secured a 2-1 aggregate lead at the Accra Sports Stadium before securing a 1-1 draw with the Sierra Leone Club, FC Kallon in the away fixture.
