The tenure of the new Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Boss, Sam Pyne, looks promising as he restores
electricity supply at the new Kejetia market in Kumasi, Ashanti region.
The market was plunged into darkness last Wednesday following nonpayment of bills amounting to over Two
Million Ghanaian Cedis spanning for about six
months to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
Commercial activities were stalled after the Electricity Company of Ghana, cut power supply to the ultra-
modern market. However, the KMA boss came to their rescue when his attention was drawn to the situation
after footing the bill.
